Microsoft could be cooking with the next Xbox Games Xhowcase to be held on June 9. Windows Central journalist Jez Corden has mentioned some of the games that could appear at the event.
Let's talk about what is sure to take place during the conference. Gears 6 is a safe bet, along a collection of the previous games with better graphics. An announcement regarding the JRPGS of the Xbox era is also to be expected, as is a new Killer Instinct by Iron Galaxy.
Contrary to what was rumoured earlier this month, Perfect Dark* is coming together and could show up. The same goes for State of Decay 3, announced in July 2020, which is reportedly looking to be more impressive than the previous entry. Coalition (Gears of War) is said to have helped Undead Labs with the graphics side.
Corden adds that Contraband, a coop open-world shooter by Avalanche Studios (Just Cause), announced back in 2021, is going through some troubles, so he doesn't know whether it will apear at the Showcase.
Finally, Microsoft is reportedly planning to talk about its strategy to ports its former exclusives to competing platforms. For example, the next DOOM could be coming to PS5.
