, by Quentin
Chinese company AYANEO has just announced a number of new products to add to its already pretty extensive catalog. We've got some consoles, a mini PC, an external battery and even a docking station for graphic cards.
Let's start with the Game Boy-inspired Pocket DMG:
This one features a joystick on the left, a touchpad, a d-pad, ABXY buttons and two rearn triggers. When it comes to real hardware, we've got a Qualcomm's Snapdragon G3x Gen 2 chip. It's got an 3.92" OLED screen with a resolution of 1240 x 1080. It's available on black or white.
Next up is the Pocket Micro (inspired by the Game Boy Micro):
This one has two joysticks, a d-pad, ABXY, L1/L2 and R1/R2 buttons. It mounts the Helio G99 processor and a 3.5" IPS screen with 960 x 640p. It's available in black, gray, red or gold.
A SNES-inspired external battery:
AYANEO has also announced an external battery that resembles Nintendo's SNES. It features a 12,000 mAh lithium battery and a monochrome OLED display. What's more, you get two USB-C ports with fast charging up to 45 W.
The Retro AM01S Mini PC:
The AM01S comes with either an AMD Ryzen 7 8845HS or a Ryzen 9 8945HS processor. It comes with Windows 11 and features a display on its shell to tell the time and many more things.
The AYANEO Air 1S handheld console:
Yes, there is more. The Chinese brand also offers its own alternative to handheld gaming tih a console featuring either an AMD Ryzen 7 784U or a Ryzen 7 8840 RDNA 3. On the GPU side, we're on Radeon 780M with, once again, a choice for RAM: either 16 or 32 GB LPDDR5X. Finally it boasts up to 4TB of SSD storage, a 5.5” 1080p AMOLED screen, two Hall-effect joysticks, ABXY buttons, rear triggers and a d-pad, for a total weight of 405g. It's available once again in black or white.
A docking station for graphic cards with a futuristic design, the AG01:
We end with a docking station for graphic cards. It comes with an AMD Radeon RX 7600M XT with RDNA 3. According to the company, it offers GPU power of up to 120 W with up to 8 Gb GDDR6 RAM. You can choose between red or gray.
There's no price or date at the moment, but AYANEO is used to launch its products via the Indiegogo funding platform, so this should be the case once again.
