More info about Deadlock, the new multiplayer shooter by Valve

Valve is working on a little something. On X.com, the Gabe Follower account has posted new info about Deadlock.

It's a competitive third-person shooter in which two teams of six players each duke it out on maps commposed of four distinct paths, and with heroes with unique abilities. The game has some tower defense elements.

It's set in a steampunk fantasy world, what with strange creatures and mages. There's a fast-travel system via rails a la Bioshock Infinite.

Gameplay will be dynamic and combine aspects of Dota 2, Overwatch, Valorant, Smite, Orcs Must Die and Team Fortress 2. Among all, the heroes' design is strongly inspired by Dota.
