No more microtransactions and mandatory Internet connection for Wayfinder

There are going to be a lot of changes for Wayfinder, a game that launched on early access last August. Affected by redundancies, Airship Syndicate will be undergoing major changes with the launch of the “Echoes” update.

As of May 31 on PC, an Internet connection will no longer be required to play, and coop with up to three players will be optional. Microtransactions will also be withdrawn, and the game will have a base price of $24.99 from June 11.

A PS5 version will follow later this summer, and Xbox Series players will get the game this autumn. The PS4 version will no longer be supported.
