This is always devastating: Dell has suffered a major leak revealing the future plans for the company. We've learned a great deal about the brand's new generation of laptops, which are to feature Panther Lake, Nova Lake and even Snapdragon X chips.
The release windows for several chips from companies like Intel, AMD and Qualcomm have also been leaked, and they range from September 2024 to October 2027:
- Lunar Lake-MX "Core Ultra 200V" - September 2024
- Arrow Lake-H/U/P "Core Ultra 200" - January 2025
- Qualcomm Oryon "Snapdragon X V" – July 2025
- Panther Lake-H/U/P "Core Ultra 300" - October 2025
- Nova Lake-H/U/P "Core Ultra 400" - October 2026
- AMD XPS de nueva generación "Ryzen AI HX" – January 2027
- Qualcomm Oryon "Snapdragon X V3" - October 2027
But that's not all, as the technical specs of the chips have also made their way out. Let's start with the Lunar Lake, which is said to offer 8 cores (4 P + 4 LP-E), an Arc Xe2-LPG Battlemage GPU with 8 Xe-Cores, up to 32 GB LPDDR5X and an NPU capable of handling over 100 AI TOPs.
Next up is Arrow Lake, which could offer up to 8 P-Cores and 16 E-Cores with the latest Lion Cove and Skymont base architectures. The chips will also integrate Alchemist and Alchemist+ Xe-LPG(+) iGPUs and benefit from enhanced NPU capabilities. The Panther Lake, meanwhile, will feature the latest P-Cores Cougar Cove and E-Cores Skymont.
It's probable that there's even more to come, given the massive amount of info that has been leaked.
