New Manor Lords patch brings fixes and better balance to the game

Just before the weekend, Slavic Magic released a new patch for Manor Lords. At the moment, this 0.7.960 update is only available from the Betas tab of the Steam menu, by typing the code "veryNiceBasket" and then selecting pre_release.

Since the game is out in early access, it comes with is fair share of bugs. For example, the patch corrects NPCs displayed as none, which simply did not work. Other issues have been corrected, like the game getting stuck on the victory screen.

On the balancing front, archers now do more damage and beer consumption is lower. To prevent players from accumulating too much money, a royal tax is now levied every year. Added to this is the fact that players' trading posts can now be used to trade in their own regions.

Dozens of other fixes are also included.
