No, Sucker Punch isn't working on a new Sly Cooper
, by Thibaut
For a few hours now, a rumor has been making the rounds on the Internet. Jeff Grubb talked about the possible existence of a new Sly Cooper to be developed by Sucker Punch, the studio behind the IP.
Unfortunately, this ended up being brought down by Jason Schreier. The Bloomberg journalist explained that Sucker Punch tends to only work on once project at a time, and that its teams are hard at work on the sequel to Ghost of Tsushima. The sequel is likely to still be far off, as AAA titles now take longer to produce. What's more, the American studio is home to less than 200 people, which isn't a lot by any means.
In any case, we're still not getting a sequel to Sly Cooper: Thieves Across Time, which saw the light of the day back in 2012.
