Atlus is planning worldwide release of Persona 5: The Phantom X

Available for now only on Asian territory, in countries such as China and South Korea, Persona 5: The Phantom X could well make it worldwide soon. Atlus has hinted at the mobile and PC spin-off to the franchise's fifth entry coming state-side.

The Japanese company states that the release "went according to plan" and that a "Japanese and worldwide launch is being considered”. This is a free-to-play entry in which players can customize their avatar and take part in some good ol' dungeon crawling. The social simulation aspect of the series is also there.

As a free-to-play mobile game, the energy gauge is depleted by these activities, and recharged over time. Of course, spending real money allows you to progress more steadily.
