Media Molecule's new IP will be more a game than some creative tool

Since its inception back in January 2006 and its first game LittleBigPlanet, MediaMolecule has always put the focus on community creation with its games, what with Dreams being almost considered a creative tool rather than a game in its own right.

In an interview with MinnMax,, Mark Healey, the studio's founder and former director, explained that Media Molecule's new license is more a game than a creative director.

Presumably, the poor sales of Dreams have prompted the British to review its strategy and go for a more traditional approach. Sony is also said to still have some great confidence in Media Molecule.
