The CEO of Square Enix is going to be fired

The current president of the Japanese publisher, Yosuke Matsuda, will soon have to step down. Indeed, his departure was requested by Square Enix Holdings as part of a motion submitted to the group's shareholders. They are expected to endorse the decision through a vote in June. Matsuda had taken up his position in 2013 and will likely be replaced by a certain Takashi Kiryu. He joined Square Enix in June 2020.
