Shadow of the Erdtree will be the game's only expansion

After presenting Elden Ring's first DLC last February, Hidetaka Miyazaki himself raised the possibility of designing yet another expansion or even a sequel for the game. However, the FromSoftware chief seems to have changed his mind.

During an interview with Zhihu, Miyazaki made it quite clear that there's no further content for Elden Ring planned. Shadow of the Erdtree will be "the first and last" DLC for the game.

Of course, it could be that the decision isn't yet set in stone. It may depend on the reception of the expansion and the studio's current pipeline.
