PS5 users will soon be able to use a link or QR code to join a game session
, by Thibaut
Sony will be rolling out a system update for PS5 in the coming weeks, allowing players to generate links or QR codes to share on social networks and by message.
This will make it easer for other users, not necessarily on our friend list, to join a game session or voice chat. This will be compatible with plenty of social networks and apps, such as WhatsApp and iMessage.
In addition, a new widget will allow us to share invitations to PS5 sessions via Discord. Finally, in the future, the PlayStation App is going to allow sharing any PSN profile by message.
