Capcom revises its financial forecasts upwards thanks to strong sales of older games

Capcom is on a roll, with a string of successes that doesn't seem to have an end in sight, and it's likely that the Japanese publisher has recorded higher-than-expected sales.

In a press release, the company has revised its net sales forecast upwards, up 8.9% to $979 million for the full year. The same applies to net profit forecasts, which are up 8.3% to $278 million.

This is driven by strong sales of Street Fighter 6 and Dragon's Dogma 2. Capcom has added that older titles from its major licenses have also performed great in sales, though the company hasn't specified which titles are those.
