New studio Starlight Games is working on futuristic sports game

A new studio has sprung up in England, and more specifically in Liverpool. It's called Starlight Games, and was founded by Gary Nichols, who began his career with Psygnosis (WipEout) before founding Atomicom, which worked exclusively for other companies.

Starlight Games also counts on the services of Andy Santos, who helped create the Skate IP at Electronic Arts. This producer even helped develop Horizon: Call of the Mountain at Firesprite and also directed Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City.

Finally, to top it all off, Nick Burcombe, who co-created WipEout, is also joining the studio to produce a new futuristic sports game to be unveiled "in the coming months". In addition, they will also reveal an action, strategy and roguelite experience set in a science-fiction world soon.
