The public test version of Valheim's Ashlands update is now available

New content is coming soon to Valheim. The 0.218.9 patch gives access to the public test version of Ashlands, a biome update that gives access to a number of new features.

It comes with more than 30 additional weapons, over 70 items to build, a dozen additional creatures and more than 30 crafting materials. Of course, there's new locations to explore, new events and to take part in and a host of items and equipement.

The public test can be accessed on Steam by going to the game's properties, selecting "beta" and typing in the code "yesimadebackups". Xbox gamers, meanwhile, need to go to the Xbox Insider Hub application, go to Previews and select the Valheim public test. Then select "Join".
