Sea of Thieves has reached the 40 million players mark

Rare's title has just passed a significant milestone. Since its release in March 2018, Sea of Thieves has welcomed 40 million players. This figure takes into account PC, Xbox users and those who have played the game on Game Pass.

It's a resounding success on the wake of the game's launch on PS5 on April 30. It's safe to say that several million more pirates will soon be taking to the seas thanks to the PlayStation 5 version.
