A fan turns his PS1 into a handheld
, by Quentin
It's always impressive to see what modders come up with, be it in terms of software or hardware.
Today, one of them, YveltalGriffin, shared his latest creation on social networks. His project to transform his PlayStation into a handheld console has come to fruition.
It's called the PS Hanami, and it's made from original components. He has added a 7-inch screen and a built-in battery capable of lasting around 2.5 hours into the mix. However, since he couldn't install a CD drive, he went for the Xstation tool, which allows running ROMs from an SD card.
It does, however, have a few limitations, such as the ability to ajust the machine's volume or an analog stick.
