The Fallout TV series may have been released this week, but that's not all for the franchise! Bethesda Game Studios has announced that the Fallout 4 upgrade for current-gen consoles will be available free of charge on April 25.
It will add a performance and "quality" modes, which come with better framerates (up to 60 FPS) and definition on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. PS4 and Xbox One players will also get a patch to improve stability and correct bugs on certain quests.
PC users will also be well served, as Fallout 4 will get support for wide and ultra-wide screens. Once again, the patch comes with fixes are for missions and the Creation Kit. The game is coming to the Epic Games Store too, and will be officially compatible with the Steam Deck.
Last but not least, the Creation Club is getting a makeover, with additional weapons and outfits. A Halloween workshop is also on the agenda.
