Like many subscription-based services these days, Electronic Arts' EA Play will be increasing the price from May 10. The American publisher has announced its new prices for US and UK.
The month's subscription to EA Play will rise from $4.99 / £3.99 to $5.99 / £5.99, and the annual subscription will be offered at $39.99 / £34.99 instead of the current $29.99 / £19.99.
In addition, the EA Play Pro package, which gives access to additional benefits and the publisher's latest games as soon as they are launched, is also affected. You'll be looking at $16.99 / £16.99 per month, compared with $14.99 / £14.99 at present. The same applies to annual subscriptions, which will be priced at $119.99 / £99.99 instead of $99.99 / £89.99.
Electronic Arts has reportedly clarified that these increases are intended to reflect changes in monetary value.
