Released back in March 2023, Black Salt Games' narrative fishing game is about to hit the big screen. Indeed, Variety reports that Dredge is getting a live-action movie.
Produced by Story Kitchen (Sonic the Hedgehog), the film is described as a kind of "Sixth Sense but on water". There's an horror component here that takes a lot from HP Lovecraft and Ernest Hemingway.
Finally, the studio responsible for the game is getting involved in the design of the film.
