Troy Baker denies being GTA VI Jason's VA
, by Quentin
The first trailer for Grand Theft Auto VI was posted back in December 2023, and as is often the case with Rockstar Game's titles, it didn't take long to take the world by storm and create plenty of speculation.
In particular, some have put great emphasis on finding out who is lending his voice to Jason. Although it's difficult to guess, given that the only says one word in the trailer, many have guessed it's Troy Baker, famous for playing Joel in The Last of Us games.
However, it seems they made a mistake, diven the VA statements. Here's his response:
"He says one word! He says ‘trust’. That right there is a lesson in perception – people think and they just automatically assume. I want that guy, whoever it is, to credit for his work because I’m sure it’s going to be great."
While many doubt his claims, thinking he's under a NDA, it seems honest enough.
