Roku wants to play ads on your TV when you pause your game
, by Quentin
Roku is a company that allows you to access both free and pay TV channels, as well as most streaming platforms, with a small box-like device that you plug to your screen.
However, a leaked document shows that the company wants to play ads on it whenever the image is stating for a certain period of time, for example, when your video game is paused for a few moments.
At the same time, the engineers at Roku are seeking to understand user preferences better in order to show more relevant ads. It remains to be seen how the user base will react to this new feature.
