Microsoft reiterates that upcoming Call of Duty games will not be Xbox exclusives

In an interview with Xbox On, Phil Spencer, the head of Microsoft's gaming division, reiterated his desire not to make future Activision FPS games exclusive to the Xbox ecosystem. "[...] We absolutely want to make the best version of Call of Duty for all players on any platform. [...] The same version of the game will be available on all platforms." In other words, if Activision Blizzard is indeed acquired by Microsoft, Call of Duty will be treated the same way as Minecraft or even The Elder Scrolls Online on competing platforms. This means that the content will be similar across all platforms.
