The Rogue Prince of Persia, a new game developed by Evil Empire (Dead Cells), could be released this year

While we got to enjoy the excellent Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown in january, it would appear that the franchise is already up for a comeback. According to Insider Gaming, there's a new game coming up for the IP this very year.

It's The Rogue Prince of Persia, and it's being developed by Evil Empire, the French studio known for Dead Cells. Development began four years ago or os, and the title is said to be a roguelite that will get free updates all through its life. These updates will depend on feedback from the community. The graphics are inspired by French-Belgian comics.

In any case, The Rogue Prince of Persia is scheduled for early access via Steam in 2024, but we don't know when Ubisoft will announce it.
