The research firm Ampere Analysis recently estimated the volume of consoles sold by Sony and Microsoft. While the following figures are not official, they still offer a good overview of the market as it stands. Thus, the Xbox Series (X and S models combined) are said to have sold around 18.5 million units worldwide. The PS5, on the other hand, is estimated to have sold around 30 million units.
