Control's multiplayer spin-off Condor goes into full production later this year

Remedy has revealed some new details about Codename Condor (provisional name), a multiplayer title with GAAS elements.

The Finnish studio has stated that the game will enter full production later this year with an initial budget of 25 million euros. The game is coming to PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC, and the company will be using their in-house Northlight engine.

As for the story, the game takes place after the events of Control. The Oldest House is confined, as supernatural forces have escaped and invaded the premises. Players will have the difficult task of working together to restore order and safety to the building. We'll face powerful enemies and numerous obstacles.

Codename Condor won't be free-to-play, being instead a "service-based fixed price" game. Remedy estimates that the title will generate revenue over the long term "through updates, game expansions and potentially microtransactions."
