Rise of the Rōnin gets by with the press

After the excellent **Dragon's Dogma 2, it's Rise of the Rōnin's turn to face the press. The scores for the PS5 exclusive have just come in, and they're fairly positive.

At the time of writing, this Team Ninja game boasts a 75% average on OpenCritic for 42 reviews, and on Metacritic, it gets a 76% rating with 94 reviews.

The strong points of the game are the outstanding combat, the game's portrayal of Japan, the experience is both accesible while remaining demanding, and the story is fascinating.

Alas, it falls short of perfection: the graphics leave a lot to be desired. exploration is a bit typical and some missions are tedious.
