Shinobi Warfare dvs are rewarding players who leave positive reviews on Steam
, by Thibaut
The small indie game Shinobi Warfare, out since June 2022, sadly went unnoticed. Now, almost two years later, TechnoTal's title is making headlines... though not for the right seasons.
Indeed, players of this 2D turn-based multiplayer RPG have given it some great ratings on Steam, with 95% of the 3,067 reviews praising the game.
Hoever, a Reddit user has taken notice of an intriguing message posted by the devs on the official Shinobi Warfare Discord channel stating that those who give the title a positive review on Valve's platform will get 1,000 free gems. The post in question was published in 2022 and still seems to be relevant today. It's worth noting that users' reviews are often very short, consisting of a single sentece or even word.
That's a practice that goes against Steam's terms of use, which clearly stipulate that writing a positive review in exchange for any kind of benefit is forbidden.
