The first Marathon is getting a remaster by fans

In 1994, Bungie released a FPS for Mac called Marathon. The creators of Destiny are now working on a sequel for current generation consoles.
But before we can get our hands on this new PvP title, fans have decided to remaster the game released some thirty years ago. Called Classic Marathon, it will be available for free on Steam.
It will come with features such as widescreen interface support, 3D filtering/perspective and 60 FPS, as well as cross-play between PC, Mac and Linux.
Note that this project has received the blessing of Bungie, who sees it as a "real tribute to the original game".
