NVIDIA announces Blackwell B200 and GB200 AI GPUs at GTC 2024

After weeks of rumors and all kinds of speculation, NVIDIA took advantage of GTC 2024 to reveal two Blackwell GPUs, the B200 and GB200 AI.

Thanks to AI, the company's new productos offer 5 times the power that of the "Hopper" H100, which is the current generation. But that's not all, the company claims to have created a chip with 208 billion transistors, made up of two chipsets.

Both chips a 4,096-bit memory, which is connected to 96 GB of HBM3E distributed over four 24 GB stacks, making a total of 192 GB. But that's not all: it claims up to 40 possible Petaflops.

NVIDIA is expected to ship all this later this year, but there's exact date or price yet.
