Resident Evil 4 remake has sold over 7 million copies

The Resident Evil 4 remake celebrates its first anniversary on March 24, and to mark the occasion, Capcom has released some sales figures for the game.

The remake has sold over 7 million units worldwide, making it the seventh best-selling entry in the license. The top 3 is for the remake of Resident Evil 2 (12.6 million), followed by Resident Evil 7: Biohazard (12.4 million) and Resident Evil 5 (8.8 million).

The saga as a whole has now sold over 154 million.
