First details of Virtua Fighter reboot

SEGA's fighting game saga could soon be making a comeback with a brand new entry. According to insider MbKKssTBhz5, it will be a reboot for modern machines and will attempt to overshadow licenses such as Tekken and Street Fighter.

As such, this episode would put emphasis its online dimension and eSports. Players would be able to watch a game as spectators. Offline modes and numerous customization options will also be included. Crossplay is also likely.

There should be new characters with a more modern style, as well as new scenarios and side stories for each fighter.

Note that this Virtua Fighter is a project that is said to have changed a great deal since it was first conceived in 2021.
