New images from a prototype of TimeSplitters 4 on PS3
, by Thibaut
Sadly never to see the light of day following the closure of Free Radical last year, TimeSplitters 4 is once again the talk of the town. Initially, this fourth entry was imagined for the PS3/Xbox 360 era, with development lasting until 2007.
This cancelled version is back, as a prototype has been unearthed from a PlayStation 3 development kit. As a result, several images (of poor quality, truth be told) have been published. The owner of the dev kit has promised to make the game files freely available on the Internet, which will undoubtedly allow dataminers to discover some interesting tidbits about TimeSplitters 4.
