Tekken 8 opens its in-game store with patch 1.02.01

Microtransactions are coming in full force in Tekken 8 thanks to a brand-new update. In addition to correcting some bugs, the patch introduces the famous Tekken Shop.

This in-game store allows players to obtain costumes and other items to equip their fighters. While some items are free, others require Tekken Coins, a virtual currency obtained by spending real money.

Measures have also been taken to combat cheating, as well as some balancing fixes to the power of several characters. Last but not least, new customization options have been introduced thanks to the UT X TEKKEN collaboration.
