Insider says rumors of DLSS integration on PlayStation 5 Pro are false

Every day, we are met with new rumors about the PlayStation 5 Pro and its possible features. However, many of these are neither verifiable nor reliable.

This is particularly true of the supposed presence of NVIDIA's DLSS technology in this future console, a rumor that insider Kepler_L2 categorically refutes on his social networks.

First of all, it's important to note that Sony works in collaboration with AMD for its consoles, so it seems unlikely that this NVIDIA technology will be integrated in place of FSR, for example. Furthermore, he explains that the AI upscaling technology present in the PlayStation 5 Pro would have to be powered by the machine's GPU, given that the Viola APU powering the system has no neural processing unit (NPU).

This reminds us that, at present, everything about Sony's next console is still rather vague.
