Palworld gets major new patch as PC player numbers plummet

After a thunderous start to its release last month, Palworld is seeing its number of players fall inexorably. On Steam, the drop is staggering! On January 27, over 2.1 million users were connected simultaneously. One month later, there are just 162,669 at the time of writing.

Undeterred, Pocketpair has decided to roll out a major update. This 0.1.5.0 patch is available on PC. It will land on Xbox "as soon as it's ready". It corrects a multitude of bugs, reviews the balancing of certain skills and adds additional options.

The server lobby has been renovated, the game's brightness can now be adjusted, anti-cheating measures have been improved and it is now possible to consult the list of players connected to a dedicated server.
