Microsoft reiterates its intention to include all Activision games in Game Pass and to offer its products in physical form

Phil Spencer, CEO of Microsoft Gaming, gave a new interview to the Game File website. It was an opportunity to put the spotlight back on the American brand's strategy for the coming years.
First of all, Spencer acknowledged that Xbox gamers mainly buy their games in dematerialized format. However, he added that "our strategy does not hinge on people moving all-digital ". Microsoft does not intend to get" rid of physical"* and does not see this as a strategic vision for its future.
As for Game Pass, and more specifically the addition of Call of Duty games, Phil Spencer was quite clear.
"Our intent is the full portfolio of games from ZeniMax, Activision Blizzard and XGS—Xbox Game Studios—will be on Game Pass, day one."
