Respawn (Star Wars Jedi, Apex Legends) to develop The Mandalorian FPS
, by Thibaut
The week ends with a big rumor from Insider Gaming concerning a project currently in development by Respawn Entertainment, creators of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, Apex Legends and Titanfall.
According to initial information, the game will be a first-person shooter in which the player will embody the famous Mandalorian. The story is set in the days when the Galactic Empire controlled the galaxy. As a bounty hunter, you'll need to capture targets, alive or dead, to earn rewards.
You'll also be able to use the jet-pack to move around, as well as numerous gadgets and weapons, and travel to different planets. It's important to note that this will be a linear progression game, not an open-world one.
It could be released in one or two years.
