The next generation of consoles could have either lower performance or higher prices

According to insider Kepler_L2, the next generation of consoles, whether PlayStation 6 or a new Xbox, could feature reduced performance or significantly higher prices.
In his view, this could be attributed to the rising cost of transistors. The days when savings could be made by reducing chip size are over, and the situation is likely to get worse, he says.
As is often the case with insider analysis, it's important to bear in mind that we don't know exactly what the future holds, and that these statements are still just rumours.
