No Man's Sky gets Omega update and free weekend trial

Patch 4.5 for No Man's Sky is finally here. This update, called "Omega", brings several major new features to the Hello Games title.

First of all, this expedition is available free of charge to all players until February 19 at 7pm (6pm GMT), even for those who do not own the game yet.

The expansion includes a new ship, a new way of launching expeditions, procedurally generated missions, black holes and additional decorations. The "Path of Atlas" has also been redesigned, and an exclusive scepter can be obtained by completing the famous expedition.
