Microsoft working on its own upscaler for Windows 11, offering an alternative to DLSS

While technologies from NVIDIA and AMD, such as FSR and DLSS, are gaining in popularity by offering a range of enhancements for video games, it seems that Microsoft is also keen to carve out a niche in this field.

Indeed, an X user has discovered a feature present in the latest test versions of Windows 11 called Automatic Super Resolution. This new feature uses artificial intelligence to make compatible games smoother and improve detail.

It's simliar to proposals already made by NVIDIA and its competitor, AMD. As yet, Microsoft has not officially announced this new feature, so we don't yet know when it will be made available to the public.
