Speculation surrounding Nintendo's next console, often dubbed the Switch 2 by the media, continues to run rampant.
This time, a new rumor suggests that the future console could offer both physical and digital backward compatibility, which means that you could play Nintendo Switch both from their cartridges and via download.
In addition, titles on the current console could benefit from improvements if developers decide to update their titles for the upcoming new system.
However, it's important to stress that all this remains purely speculative and is not based on any official announcements.
