Microsoft has no intention of stopping making consoles
, by Thibaut
Speculation is at an all-time high ahead of Xbox's keynote address next week. On this occasion, Phil Spencer is expected to comment on the hypothetical arrival of the brand's exclusives on competing platforms.
Some see in this possible new commercial strategy the "end of Xbox", which would opt to go for multiplatform with all its games, and the talk has gone so far as to talk about the end of Microsoft consoles.
Journalist Shannon Lio reported that the CEO of the group's gaming division recently held an internal meeting in which he announced that Xbox does not intend to withdraw from the console market, instead going for a "strategy which involves multiple kinds of devices".
