Among the 1,900 redundancies announced at Microsoft Gaming last month, many were at Activision's development studios. The list includes Toys for Bob (Crash Bandicoot, Spyro) and Sledgehammer Games (Call of Duty).
The former reportedly saw 86 of its employees leave as part of these layoffs. The Novato, California-based studio's premises were also closed. As for Sledgehammer, 76 people were reportedly pushed out the door.
Activision declined to comment on these figures, as reported by the San Francisco Chronicle.
