The partnership between Activision and Sony on Call of Duty will come to an end next year

In 2015, Sony and Activision signed an agreement for the Call of Duty franchise. The contract allowed the Japanese manufacturer to offer various elements such as betas and other DLCs in advance on PlayStation. But according to Brad Smith, the President of Microsoft, this agreement will expire in 2024. While FPS games can still be released on PS5, the marketing campaign and temporary (or permanent) exclusivities on certain content should now move to Xbox.
