The Nintendo Switch has been a resounding success since its launch in 2017, and the craze continues unabated. Indeed, we learn that it has reached the impressive figure of 139.36 million units sold worldwide.
It is now just 15 million units behind the Nintendo DS, which holds the company's sales record. What's more, it surpasses total PlayStation 4 sales by 20 million units.
We also note that it sold 16.81 million units in 2023 alone. Although this represents a 12% drop on 2022, it's still a remarkable figure.
