Devolver Digital CEO leaves the company
, by Thibaut
After joining Devolver in 2020 and being named the company's CEO a year later, Douglas Morin made his departure official this week, and it's effective immediately.
In a press release, we learn that this decision was made "as part of planning for Devolver's long-term growth and development". One of Devolver Digital's co-founders, Harry Miller, is taking over the reins.
This departure took place under particular conditions, as the company recently parted ways with 25 people at its Artificer studio (https://news.instant-gaming.com/en/articles/4612-devolver-has-laid-off-25-people-at-artificer-showgunners). The publisher also unveiled Children of the Sun, a new tactical puzzle shooter to be released shortly.
