StellarEntertainment (Need for Speed) may be teasing the return of Burnout

It's been 2008 since the Burnout franchise last saw the light of day on consoles and PC. It's been a long wait that could soon come to an end, if we are to believe a message from StellarEntertainment on X.com.
The studio behind Need for Speed Unbound, Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered and Burnout Paradise Remastered, has teased a potential return of the franchise. In its post, the company seems to be referring to the IP.
It reads "you're about to get rear ended" and is a reference to the series' "take downs". This element consists in destroying an opponent's vehicle during a race. Note that this is also the name of the third entry in the saga, Burnout 3: Takedown.
Some fans believe that a remake of the game, released in 2004, could be in the offing.
