Insurgency: Sandstorm out now on PS5 and Xbox Series

It's official: Insurgency: Sandstorm is out now on current-gen PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. Focus Entertainment has confirmed the launch via a simple trailer.

The first-person shooter is playable in 4K at 60 FPS on both platforms. However, the Xbox Series S version will have to make do with 1080p definition. Loading times have also been shortened thanks to each machine's SSD. Cross-play is also possible with previous-generation consoles.

Added to this is the fact that owners of the title on PS4 or Xbox One can get the upgrade for free. They also retain all purchased DLC.
