182 million games and 7.4 million consoles sold in Europe in 2023

These figures come from GamesIndustry.biz. The most important is the number of games sold in Europe, which will total 182 million units in 2023, including both physical and digital versions.
EA Sports FC 24 tops the sales charts. However, sales are down 9% on FIFA 23 (third this year) in 2022. Hogwarts Legacy comes second. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is fourth and Grand Theft Auto V fifth.
In terms of consoles, the PS5 logically takes first place, with sales up 177% year-on-year. The Switch is second (down 10%) and the Xbox Series X|S third (down 18%). The PS4 has seen strong growth, with an increase of 671% compared to 2022.
In summary, 7.4 million consoles were sold in Europe (up 42%) in 2023. Accessories reached 20.5 million units.
